In Focal Group counts, what does “in some classes/groups” mean?

In Community and Network reports, a respondent will be counted as being in the Focal Group “in some classes/groups” if they are a member of the Focal Group in some classes/groups but not all.

For example, in Elevate, one teacher may include all English Learners in her Focal Group because she’s especially interested in understanding and improving the experiences of English Learners. Another teacher may include all boys of color in his Focal Group because he wants to focus on improving their experiences. Let’s imagine that there is a girl in both of those classes who is an English Learner. She would be in the Focal Group in one class but not the other. In Community and Network Reports, she would be counted as being in the Focal Group “in some classes.”
